I am leading a new organization called The Alliance for Secure AI. Our mission is to educate policymakers, journalists, and the public about the implications of advanced AI on our way of life.

Artificial general intelligence (AGI) will likely be here in the next few years, and it is going to profoundly transform our economy, national security, health care, energy, and much more. There are potential benefits from AGI, but there are also some very serious risks that we need to mitigate.
